Pinched from [profile] holmes_221b  again !!! Sorry i am late with this, but still plenty of weeks to go till Christmas !!

Instructions
Part One
1. Make a post (security can be whatever's comfortable with you) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
2. If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
3. Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (I won't be bothered if you do that) so that the holiday joy will spread all over the place.

Part Two
1. Surf around your friendslist (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list.
2. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Remember, sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Additional Notes

Oh yes, at school really but i loved it. Started in the school nativity (!!!) and was on stage every year till i was 16 years old. I also acted on professional stage at the local arts centre, i was in the production of the Wizard of Oz. And also spoke a few verses from Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood. I would liked to have done something challenging like Shakespeare, but that never happened. But my English teacher's jaw dropped once when i livened up a bored class by actually acting out a scene of Macbeth instead of just reading it outloud. Hehehe she was also the school's drama coach ! But i did love treading the boardwalks at the local arts centre. A three night performance, but boy it really fed my acting passion big time !!! :D

Try thrift stores, pawn shops, etc., you might get lucky and be there at a time when they happen to have a telescope for sale--probably not one of those fancy ones that can auto-adjust, but a simple reflecting telescope probably will do you just fine. I got my cheapo, piece of junk telescope from a white elephant sale held by my high school, and I was at least able to see Mars with it when it happened to be in a part of the sky that wasn't blocked by trees. It was just a reddish blur, but I was able to identify it as Mars--and that was with a telescope that was really meant for closer objects, like birds and people.

edit: and snagging memes from me is entirely okay with me--not to mention that I highly encourage it.
