Somerfield and the Dalek !

As much as i would love to have done battle with a Dalek in Sommerfield, my life is not as exciting as that! Somerfield did however mark another milestone in my post op knee recovery. I was chuffed to bits when i was able to walk down a whole street today ! Even crossed some roads where the pavements were a bit difficult. My walking feels more normal now. Not 100%, feels more like 65% better really. But i do sense this weekend i am seeing light at the end of the tunnel! At long last !!
All day i have been looking forward to the Dalek being back on Dr Who. It was a good story but not as exciting as others. I felt rather sorry for the Dalek in the end, the story had a lot of pathos, a Greek tradgey. I was cross however with myself as i could not find my DVD Genesis of the Daleks, which is THE Dalek story to own!. A timeless classic. Oh well. Another bit of Dr Who info, i have been invited to join the Dr Who Appreciation Society in my area ! Got a lovely e-mail from someone on one of the forums i post on regarding Dr Who ! Woo Hoo !!

Oh well i will probably have nightmares tonight about being chased by a dalek in Sommerfield! If i can remember the dream/nightmare, i'll write it up and send it to the BBC as a future script for Dr Who !!!!! LOL ! :)
