Writer's Block: Who's your BFF?

[Error: unknown template qotd] I have lots and lots of friends, but there are only a few i regard as close friends. My best friend Dawn and I have been friends for over 16 years. We have met and chatted almost every other weekend and been on holiday together to Paris and did lots of exciting things like see the Mona Lisa etc.  We did have a quarrell recently but we have forgiven each other as friends do. That is true friendship. A year ago i met some people who i became very close to. They became people whom i trusted and cared for implicitly.  Sadly we had a huge arguement and they have rejected my friendship. Unlike Dawn and I there is no happy ending. But i still think of them with great affection and think of them every day.  My heart is broken, but i still forgive them. Very few people make an impact on me. Dawn has. She is my rock and anchor in the stormy seas of life. I regarded the other people who have rejected my friendship in the same category. I loved them so much. I still do. Friendship is one of the greatest gifts in life. But sometimes it can also break your heart.
