Bear Necessity!

Saw this in the news today which made me smile! It seems a Canadian Bear decided to take a joy ride!

Fortunately noone was hurt, otherwise it would be no laughing matter. Actually it is a statement of how humans are encroaching on the bears terriority. They are often seen in townsthat have sprung up further and further into bear country. So it is a common occurance. I dont know if they have a national park in Canada or not but we as as a Human Race need to learn that we are not the only species occupying this planet. We share it. I give my cat Zilly all the love and care i can give her, but i also give her plenty of space to do her own thing. she is after all a cat!

Having said that, it still made me smile. Animals caan be so funny! Just like Zilly has made me laugh with her sense of fun and playful nature. I have a soft spot for that bear! Though i would not get too close to it! :)
