wirralbagpussWell well well. It seems that the UK not wanting to be outdone by our American cousins are planning on sending unmanned probes to the Moon with a view to setting up a lunar base:

Where's Professor Bergman or Commander Koenig when you need them. It seems that Gerry Anderson was right in his predicition of bases on the moon, but instead of 1999 it will happen probably (hopefully) 2029!! Exciting times ahead methinks !!!
