Hospital and Handsome Surgeon !!

Belated apologies for the long absence in my diary ! had my knee op om March 29th to repair a long standing ACL problem. First night in hospital was horrid. i reacted badly to the anthestic. Was quite sick all afternoon and night. Came round shivering! Thought someone had nicked my blanket !!! The folowing day was much better. My main aim was to get used to walking on a heavily swollen leg!! At first i had to be wheelchaired to the loo and back. Prior to that it was bedpans all the way. Ewwwh !!! I hated being in hospital. No privacy, and all the patients on the ward were in their 60's-80's. I wanted to be left alone with my books. But they kept wanting to talk to me !! GRRRR !!! Another thing that annoyed me was the volunteer that came round to "cheer me up". I could have throttled her !!! I did not need that kind of patronising stuff so i politely told her i preffered my own company and she went away !!! Yay!!
Stayed with my Father a week recovering post op. he was good to me but i sometimes felt i needed time on my own ! He did buy me a talking parrot which i thought was hillarious. A family joke !! Back at home now. Going stir crazy !!! Got another sick note today a whole month off work !! Gulp !! At least at the hopsital today i got my dressings taken off. ! Yay !!!

Musically Depressed !! :(

I have been trying to play my clarinet. I just cannot seem to get my notes playing smoothly and keep running out of breath !!! Not like playing the recorder at all! What am i doing wrong? I so very much want to play the clarinet but i am feeling depressed about it all ! :( Will keep trying...
