A Friend Of Mine Died Today

The day had gone so well. I finally booked my holiday at long last and am really excited about it. Then came the sad news at the end of the day that a colleague of mine in work has died. Only found out as i was leaving for the day. It has upset me more than i thought and i shed a few tears tonight. Collette will be missed. She always said hello to me and we had a few laughs. She did well in getting promoted to manager but she remained the same old Collette with time for everyone. A real human being. I dont know yet how she died, that will come tomorrow. But right now i hope she is in a better world than the one we are in now.
