First Night Of The Proms !! :) And Meeting In Liverpool !

Oh how i wish i was there tonight. It was fabulous. I thoroughly enjoyed Mendhelsham's violen concerto and Elgar's Cockyenede. The condcutor made a powerful speech condeming not just what happened on 7/7 but also looked at the bigger picture of the horrors of the 20th century. I thought it was very eloquant and poetic. Good on him!!! I really wanted to go to the Proms this year, but work, money and commitments means i cant go, and yet i really want to be there !!! :(

Wonder if BBC will do a podcast of the Prom season? !!! :D

Well tomorrow is B day !!! I cant wait. :):) Should be lots of fun. I am excited but also terribly nervous at what 10am will bring !!! Got butterflies in my stomach already !! I am sure we will be fine after the first 10 mins!! I will TRY and sleep tonight...just hope my ear ache will not get in the way of things !!
