The Cat's Mieow !!!

Well this is good news. After five long years, Chloe has finally apologised for her behaviour. I have accepted that apology. We are now talking again and has Chloe  admitted she is surprised that i have not bitten her head off, but instead accepted her apology and we are slowly sorting things out. Dunno where this will take us, but it does make a change that she is now beginning to act maturely. Things will take time, but the important thing is that we are talking again after five long years of nothingness. It give me hope that human beings can after all recognise when they are at fault and apologise for their role in an argument. Although it took her five years she has finally apologised. And i respect that as it took courage to do so. To admit they were wrong. But it is true the old saying, Sorry is the hardest word to say. And some people will never find the courage to say sorry. Not to do so is self denial. And that only leads to hate and spitefulness. At least Chloe has done so tonight, albeit at my request. And i genuinely respect it.  It is a releif actually to hear that word. Now the business of healing and rebuilding can begin. Though it will take me time to trust her again. But toniight was a start. That is something.  It is a beginning. We can build bridges now. I am not an evil monster. I do forgive people, but it does take two to forgive.  So tonight was an important breakthrough. I for one am glad.  We can sort this out. It will take time, it will require building back up trust and all that, but it can be sorted.  Finally.....
