Yes i have challenged people about making homophobic remarks both professionally and online as well. I think it is totally wrong for anyone to criticise one's sexuality, everyone has a right to be who they are ! It is their personal business and noone elses. On a BBC forum a year ago i challenged someone who was making very clear homophobic remarks and reported the person/thread in question to Stonewall, a leading UK gay rights charity who were not amused at all by the person/thread in question and someone from the charity wrote back and personally thanked me for not only pointing out the thread in question but also for challenging the ignorant person in question as well. The world cannot change unless we all challenge such bad behaviour together. It is all about respecting each other and learnign to live together but being respectful of our cultural, ethnic, religous and backgrounds !!
